BiographyHello, my name is Jacob Walker. I am a second year student in this pathway and choose to take architecture instead of engineering. I heard about Introduction to Drafting & Design in 8th grade on the course description sheet. I took this class to explore my architectural interests. I am currently not working, but I plan to get a job soon. My future education goals include going to college and majoring in architecture and mathematics. After that, I plan to go to graduate school and get a masters degree in architecture. The college I wish to attend is Clemson. My future employment goals are to either get a job at an architecture firm as a designer or start my own business for custom home design. Some strengths I have that might help me in this course are creativity, ability to work with others, and my dedication to accomplish good work. One weakness that I hope to improve is that I procrastinate too much. I am most interested in learning how to use Revit because I believe it will help me get a head start in college. A book (technically set of books) that has made a difference in my life is the Bible because it has made me who I am today. Some hobbies of mine include playing baseball, playing golf, listening to music, reading, and watching movies. I am on Etowah's math team. I have two brothers. I like to travel. I have been to over 15 states and I am from Columbus, Ohio.
